Join Manada Conservancy for a hike at the recently opened Detweiler Park as part of the Walk in Penn’s Woods partnership initiative. Bring your binoculars for a three-mile beginner to intermediate level hike led by Manada Conservancy board member and wildlife biologist Dave McNaughton. Dave will point out migrating birds and herps along the way. Enjoy the first signs of fall color and winter botany coming into form on the globally recognized Kittatinny Ridge, an area of high priority for protection along Manada Conservancy and fellow conservation organizations throughout the region.

Where: Detweiler Park, 1451 Peter’s Mountain Road in Dauphin. Meet in the Dauphin County Conservation District parking lot.
