Spring trail horse riding with Willistown Conservation Trust is here!
Would you like to know how to get to Okehocking, Strawbridge’s Hill, the Bamboo Forest, the lovely new trails in the Serpentine Preserve, the new and old trails in Willisbrook Preserve, or the trails east of Marlborough Road? Join WCT at one of its upcoming trail rides.
Choose Your Guided Trail Ride
Friday, May 10: a “shorter” ride, 1 1/2-2 hrs (to either Kirkwood and Bamboo Forest or Okehocking—Turtle Rock). Meet at Radnor Hunt parking lot at 5:30 p.m.
NEW! Sunday, May 19: approx 2 1/2 hrs, Willisbrook and Serpentine Barrens. Meet at Radnor Hunt parking lot at noon.
Sunday, June 2: To Alliquippa area, and the Serpentine and Willisbrook preserves. Meet at Radnor Hunt parking lot at 10 a.m.
After each of the rides, you’re invited to join WCT for après trail food and drink potluck picnic. You must have your own horse, who should be able to behave in a group at a trot, and should be fit enough to complete the distance described.
To reserve your spot for any of the rides above, RSVP by email to Trails Team chair Barbara Vincent.
If Radnor Hunt is not a convenient starting point, let WCT know; staff can try to make arrangements to meet you at a different location another time this spring.
